Pylon Audio Opal Monitor

Opal Monitor bookshelf speakers are a two-way design, based on the PSC 18.8 CS / M low-midrange driver. The woofer has been adapted to working conditions in a smaller enclosure by changing the susceptibility of suspensions. In the midrange, the paper membrane, subjected to the coating process, offers a selective sound with a dose of heat.

The top of the band was entrusted with a 25mm silk dome tweeter, which thanks to its compact size allowed the acoustic centers of the loudspeaker system to be closer together.

Opal Monitor, like the entire Opal line, offers above average readability of the midrange. It is a set that you can successfully use in your home recording studio, and the whole is so composed that it does not get into technical manner. The whole idea of ​​the Opal line was inspired by the same idea: creating a neutral set of speakers, which in addition to insight into the recording gives pleasure while listening to music.

The set allows for comfortable listening at a short distance, the sound stage is suggestive and the detachment of sound from the speakers does not cause any trouble. The sound is saturated with well-controlled bass, giving the songs compactness and speed. Overall readability and insight into the recording is a strong point of the entire Opal line.

18 mm body with the back of the enclosure has been combined with a thickened 22mm screen, designed to reduce any vibrations of the front wall. An additional element stiffening the whole structure is a reinforcement placed in a sensitive place.

The speakers are dedicated to 12-20m2 rooms.
