Being a permalloy magnet principle cartridge you can replace the stylus when it is worn out for a reasonable cost. You can even upgrade to the boron cantilever stylus of the MP-200 for even clearer high fidelity.
A stylus guard is included with the cartridge to protect it during transportation and when not in use. The Stylus guard is also sold separately should you ever find yourself in need of a spare.
Included in the MP-100 box only are accessories for mounting the cartridge in most headshells. You will find two sets of screws of approximate length 10mm and 13mm as well as two plastic washers and two bolts. Also in the box is a small screwdriver.
