aune x8 XVIII Magic DAC with LDAC BT

The aune X8 XVIII Magic DAC  is a special edition version of their best selling DAC the X8, to celebrate the 18th anniversary of the brand. This one continues with the idea of the interchangeable AOP as well as the seven available filters, while adding a preamplified TRS balanced output. In addition, this new version also has available very high quality Bluetooth connectivity with support for the high-resolution transmission codecs such as aptX HD and LDAC.

FPGA

The X8 XVIII allows the decoding of high resolution audio streams up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and DSD512. Using an FPGA specially programmed by Aune, the X8 XVIII offers a precise, dynamic and detailed sound reproduction.

TRS balanced output

In addition to its USB, coaxial and optical inputs and its RCA pre-out and line outputs, the X8 XVIII is now equipped with a balanced preamplified output in 6.35mm TRS format.

Interchangeable AOP

The Aune X8 XVIII takes the concept of the interchangeable AOP. This one is indeed mounted on DIP8 support and accessible under the device. You just have to replace it by another model to adapt the sound reproduction of the DAC according to your audio system and your listening.
